Hi, I'm a progressive house producer and i have got a little problem with one of my melodies.

I've made a melody but a part of it, sounds a bit like a part of melody of someone else.
A melody itself is completly different. Its in a different key and octave with a different synth and also with a different bassline. The common part of both melodies is very short and it just sounds a bit same, but the whole melodies are completly different.
I just don't know, If I'll be able to release it when I'll finish it.

If you can give me any type of advice, I'll be glad for it :)

None of these things make a difference. If you copy someone else's melody, you're gonna have problems.

But if it is genuinely different but simply sounds similar in places, then you generally should be ok.

Other that that, it's impossible to say any more without hearing/seeing it.
Unfamiliar words can be looked up in my Glossary of musical terms.

Without hearing it, who can say? Which melody is it similar to?

+1k. More precisely, transposing a melody does not make it in any way different.

However, there's nothing wrong with reworking a melody to make it your own. Shape it into a call/response thing. Cut it up into pieces; maybe an ABCB "rhyme." Change the intervals and rhythms. Add and subtract notes in the middle. Reharmonize it. Keep the same chords, but transpose the notes -- instead of, say, cde over C, do efg over C. Make it modal.
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!
