how to produce a record tutorials?

This probably sounds like something i posted before, but i just want a tutorial on how to produce a record, not a edm track, a song with vocals.i already know how to produce a instrumental based off what melodies i have in my head. Before when i TRIED to produce my own recoerd i had to take time just to think of a melody to fit the song. Im not 100 percent sure about how the pros, or even indies do it. I just want to do it like how others seem to do it. It feels like its a secret being held out from me. So if you have a tutorial please post it. Thanks.
