I wouldn't call it trance but it is hilarious
must be frustrating for some of the trance people here who can't even compose half a track like yours

Ok, then I guess I´m not hurting anyone by saying that this sounds like someone who dunno what trance is about but was hired to make the soundtrack for a porn movie shot on location in a big rave clubannode wrote:.I know he hates contrived/trance/cheese...I guess this was the subject matter of it...or the huggie/empathy/mdma feelings of trance he`s maybe making fun of...can`t be sure.
Just can`t make out the words.
However, I wish Mr Donkey would not hate trance that much, cause I´m sure it could be turned into something pretty groovy then!

This is (no offence, I know it was actually your intention) complete and utter shite, well to be honest, even by eurotrance cheese merits. Well, maybe if I understood a single word you sung I might find it funny, but not being natively english speaking I didn't understand half of it. How about lyrics transcription?
Mixing and vocal processing is ok-ish (singing is just terrible, also intentionally I presume), even tho the vocal is waay too loud, and other relative presence/loudness of elements is far from what is standard in dance music. I can assume you come from some sort of pop/rock background.
Anyway, no wonder you people have such a low opinion about trance music if you consider this piano-lesson-one arpeggio shite to have anything to do with what actual trance music should be like. No, I'm not talking about THIS particular track, it's quite obviously a joke. and no, I'm not totally thick even tho I think there is good trance music around. I'm talking about the type of tracks it's obviously making fun of.
Sure, if I was judging rock music by, say, Van Halen and Kiss or metal music by Alice Cooper and, dunno, Linkin Park, I'd probably arrive at the same kinda attitude towards it as you have towards trance judging it by euro-shite, Ferry, Tijs, A. van Burren, Oakie and the lot.
I feel too much prejudice here and I don't even like trance myself. Thank God I never had a chance to talk about dance music I like with you lot.

... and learn the trance theory
making a good trance track is a complex process, if you can play the piano, it's not enough.
No offence to the author of the track.

Don't take it personal like son! I'll take the piss out of anything and everything, whether I like it or not.
It was a 'cover'
of 'bigmouth strikes again' by The Smiths by the way, for anyone who didn't err, guess.

she said: "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said: "that's nothing - you should hear me play piano"

You've missed the point entirely. The song is more likely a reaction to all the posts here asking 'how do I make/please rate my/please bump my ratings' trance song. As such, it's meant to be irrittating, illegable, & grinding on the nerves. As a mockery, it's top-notch.peejunk wrote:This is (no offence, I know it was actually your intention) complete and utter shite, well to be honest, even by eurotrance cheese merits. You WERE able to hear the word 'c**t' though, right?
It's just letting off steam, it's not meant to have a Freudian Analysis applied to it.

Pretending to take it personal is just a bullshit way of trying to steal attention.
It ain't gonna work! This is the un-official KvR song of the month!

I said I completely understand it's a joke. I'm just saying that where you're aiming with this joke is silly.
It would be if I was taking a piss out of hard rock by screeming lyrics from Underworld's Cowgirl over the music from Alice Cooper's "Poison".
