Best option at the moment is to use blacktomcat's audio-term. The device posted some links on this thread.

Thanks guys. I saw the same info in the Synapse Audio forums. I was thinking that if the file format is known then I could have some fun and write a little Matlab code to roll my own wave tables.

I have a friend on the beta forum who uses Matlab to produce some wavetable, his kvr username is cytospurGribs wrote:Thanks guys. I saw the same info in the Synapse Audio forums. Some reviews have been published (e.g. German Beat magazine, 6/6), others such as CM are yet to come.Yorrrrrr wrote:Everything is quiet in DUNE 2 land...Where are the reviews? Any news from the devs? Anyone with commercial soundbanks incoming? Anything?
The German webzine Amazona.de has posted an extensive review last week. Overall score is 3 stars out of 3:

About soundbanks, we plan on releasing one soon

Richard, I can't tell you how much I LOVE DUNE2. This, along with Blue 2 has really raised the bar on VST's. Hard act to follow as they say. I just finished another song using DUNE2 for almost everything. Maybe post tomorrow so you can judge yourself.

Hey, thanks for that. I think that cytospur is the same guy who posted some wave tables in the Synapse forum that he had made using mathematical algorithms - I sent him a PM - hope he replies.carrieres wrote:I have a friend on the beta forum who uses Matlab to produce some wavetable, his kvr username is cytospurGribs wrote:Thanks guys. Well, here's my song. I used DUNE 2 for bass and arp lead. What I love is DUNE2 complements everything. I think it sounds close if not exactly like hardware.

Cool track. Some really cool elements, and those vocals are nice. I might mix it a bit differently and give the vocals center stage, push some of the other elements like the arp and square lead back at times. Sorry for the unsolicited opinionosiris wrote:https://soundcloud.com/lost-n-spaced/lo ... w-or-never

Wow, Computer Music award Dune 2 with 10 out of 10. Not often they give out such high grades
Their verdict: "The best sounding synth we've heard in quite a while. Dune 2 is powerful flexible and bursting with a character all its own"
I hope this means a Dune 2 CM version is forthcoming
