1)
An (optionally visible) grid and a "Snap to" feature, so the anally retentive type
can sort things on screen.
2)
A bypass feature. If you just need modules ocasionallly, you have to "build around them". E.g. Alt-clicking could be used so the MIDI or Audio signal bypasses a part. Should also be visible (greyed out).
3)
Grouping/Folders, so you can quickly duplicate a set of connected modules.

4)
"Replace by" in the context menu of VSTi's, so you can quickly swap synths without having to rewire.
5)
The left part of the File Open/Save Dialog boxes (which shows the folders) should be resizable. Currently it's hard to see where you are when you dive deep into a folder structure.

1. "boxing" of layouts into new comps, in a synthedit style. Modularity to the max!
2. auto-fit samples to certain number of beats in audio comp, for easy mix and match of drum loops etc.
3. Horizontal zoom on waveform display in audio comp, so we can be more precise with envelope editing. eg. fine tuning of attack/decay on drum hits cut from a loop.
Cheers

Ability to set up several project paths (sample folder, recorded waves folder, saved projects folder) and eXT will automatically select them.
For example, right-clicking on an audio part or track will force eXT to open the open dialog in d:\samples\.
If you press the sequencer's record button, the recorded wave will be saved to d:\samples\record.
If you press the open button, eXT will browse d:\tracks\.
