BTW, what happened with the Universal Patch Finder? Is it still being developed or has development stopped? Because it was a great concept, it's just that only 20 tags aren't enough to tag all my samples. And I didn't like the black small GUI...

Aural Probe is another nice concept, kind of a virtual Launch Pad...

Then I also tried SampleSort which crashed my whole computer while scanning the sample directory!

But if there were ONE free program (or cheaper then Sample Librarian) that could do (more) than all three programs, I would be dancing the whole summer!

I remember that I encountered one programmer here the previous year and he said that he could program such a sample-tag-software and would sell it for 20 bucks, and then he disappeared (is he still programming?

The best way to manage samples is to use "delete" button a lot. If a sample is not the best, it's not needed at all.

The problem is that my songs are absolutely different, so I use different drums for every song. a kick is a kick no matter what the music, just get rid of them.
you are collecting rather than acquiring useful tools.

Ha! You'll all be sorry when you find out that I and only I have kept that Avicii reverse crash cymbal. I shall have The Power*. Bwhahahaha.
