200Gb drives take fuckin' ages to format!!! Thats been well over half an hour and its only at 49%

And that doesnt include the hour and a half I lost because upgrading my BIOS so that my drive controller handled LBA48 caused my GeForce 5600 to start behaving strangely meaning my monitor kept losing sync, so I've had to swap the bugger out, and for some reason its started freezing on a restart as well.
Grrrrrr.

And no, this isnt my audio system, its my bloody games/3D/work system which means I -need- the 5600 working.
