Wow, respect!Alive In Chernobyl wrote: I have no midi in my computer. I play the keyboard through amp I bring into room. The midi is between keyboards. I do no sequence. If I must play something I cannot play, then I spend much time practicing till I can do it!![]()
So you play all the other instruments as well?
I'd like to hear some of your stuff.

With the piss and dead body I can expect many stars to come by. Keith Richards call to book time tonight. I hear rumour that Axel Rose will be coming by too!dten wrote:Oh sh** -- this had me pissing!!Alive In Chernobyl wrote: Great! My first dead body. I am now really a rock star studio!

Hi Alive,
I did some anal-ising too, I used my laptop to work out everything, was pretty tough because the speakers are quite heavy and I moved them around about 200-300 times, so I know what you went through.
Tried all sorts of positioning, next to my computer screens was a hopeless thing, got this strange stereo sound and everything just went to pieces.
AutoCAD DID come in handy, used lots of frequency anal-ising tools (woow!; he said tool!), even asked my neighbours (one of them has seen David Hasselhof live twice and the the other one works in the CD department of a chemist chain store here) and this is what we came up with:

Any comments would be welcome.
Regards

...so help him instead...
I think you should go over this exelent mag
http://computermusic.co.uk/main.asp
and perhaps read the "Hear no Evil"
article:
http://computermusic.co.uk/tutorial/hear.asp
as it will give you some good advice on how to "untidy" your room in a good way.
(This is a good initiative; How many of you guys would be able to send in a picture of your setup/studio?)
-I bet its too untidy; I know MadvikinS keeps our studio a mess at ALL times, but I will tidy it up and post a pic...

?
You don't think Alive was being serious do you?
Apart from that, I have my speakers next to my computer monitors like I guess most people here have.

I forget my walls are made of strong block. This stops my plan for decoration
I must buy hooks with glue on the backing.

Alive, I need to know, were you joking in your first post about your speaker stuff? If you weren't I'm sorry, but I was sure you were!
