Hi folks,

A few words for a quick summary on the Vintage Vault (VV) upgrade offer :

1. We're offering current users of our vintage series instruments a scaling discount to upgrade to VV.
The more instruments you owned and had registered before July 1st, 2014, the greater the discount.
After logging into your UVI account, users owning single vintage products will see an automatic discount directly on the VV page (http://www.uvi.net/vintage-vault.html)

2. I have to admit that basically, we haven't really thought about customers reselling their original products.
We feel it is not super fair as you had a special discount because of these single titles.

3. Any questions ? Feel free to contact us --> http://www.uvi.net/contact-us, we always have a solution for you ;-)

I asked about new products and will they be added in Vintage Vault but never got answer.

Hi,

Why are you offering upgrade prices for purchases made before July 1st and not after that?

For example, I have decided to buy some of them after that date and might buy others in the future. If someday I would like to upgrade to the full bundle, I will have to pay the full price again without any rebate if I own many synths from the bundle?

Hopefully next in line: Chamberlin, Casio CZ-series, EMS synths, Ensoniq Mirage or Fizmo, Kawai stuff, Kurzweil stuff, rare Oberheims, Optigan, Roland JD-800 etc. Just some suggestions. :P
So... To answer your question : No, this is not planned this way ! ;-)

Hi there,

is there (much) overlap between the UVI Synth Legacy for Guitar Center, and Vintage Vault? (I am on the verge of buyin Vintage Vault, but Synth Legacy looks like a nice "condensed" package of Vintage Vault to me... (?) )

Synth Legacy is considered as a very light vintage synths bundle with one unique GUI (4 GB compressed samples).
No comparison with Vintage Vault which bundles every scripted instruments, all the samples and layers needed and many great features ! (63 GB compressed samples / previously 114 GB "uncompressed").
You will find some duplicates, but very light versions in Synth Legacy.

Thanks for the answer! So I guess Vintage Vault stays on top fo the "to buy" list, and I will skip Synth Legacy instead. ;-)

Moreover, I would say there are both really complementary as about 5% of Synth Legacy presets are light versions of Vintage Vault contents – and the other 95% are only included in Synth Legacy.
Therefore, should you need a huge synth arsenal, you'd better get them both !! ;-)

Interested in checking out Synth Legacy, but when I follow the link I got in UVI newsletter to Guitar Center it says that it is sold out?

Was there only a limited set of licenses?

We are currently working out with Guitar Center to have Synth Legacy available worldwide.
This should be fixed out within next 24 hours by their webmasters.
