I'd appreciate some nice easy steps on what to do with what is in the package. For Windows7.
EDIT:
After posting that, we had a few posts to and fro that will now make no sense. The dev, drwolf85, has now supplied a plugin for Win and Linux platforms. Links are on the next page or on main DC014 contest page.

Noon, you just need to rename the file to *.wav and import them into your DAW on an audio track - an effect you haven't heard in a plugin before
But maybe it was just some last minute mistake...

Perhaps I misunderstand the term plug-in ? But no matter, it's going in the bin.

But would distributing a compiled version be allowed ? (I'm not familiar with licenses, this is GPL obviously).
So maybe a nice soul does it ? (not me though)
edit: I mean if the dev doesn't for whatever reason.
But maybe it was indeed a last minute mistake or something.

I think he just forgot to provide a binary. He obviously couldn't distribute the whole complete source code, because the VST SDK can't ve redistributed. I've looked through the code, the DSP part is just 10 lines of code. Tomorrow I'll compile it and see what it can do.

to the original dev: please provide binaries!
Looks to me like the thing was developed in a linux environment. The compile instructions are also linux-oriented so to say.

Yet, it's kinda strange. A person invest time to make a plugin, get into a contest and forget to compile it? I hope he / she forgot it otherwise it would be weird.
