Just created a few drums sounds, still adjusting them.

If you enjoy, I can send you the patches.
Really good, think decent drums maybe the tricky bit this month (not like it's the tricky part every month lol).
Was going to have a rest this month but think this maybe too good to miss.
Think I might just plum for some weirdness https://soundcloud.com/chilled-panda/od ... r-a-little

Same here: wasn't sure about entering this month, but I simply love those Elektrostudio synths. You're right, this is too good to miss. :)

Nice percs already, coming on well there.

I did a quick ODsay realisation of the "Pretty Tune" on my SC page which you said might be a good one for an OSC!!! The song was/is in preparation (and has been for a few months - gestational problems  ).

Original first shot with Shimmer doing all the work:
https://soundcloud.com/doctorbob/prettytune

Here's a snippet with absolutely NO fx processing at all OR automation ... all raw output from the synth and nothing else, all free running:

Should I continue? What do you think???? Have other "ambient" ideas up my sleeve.

I was going to attempt a "boogie woogie" on this synth, but I think that would be a step too far this time :D

26 Patches for you guys:

I am having a blast with Cantabile Lite (free)'s random patch options, and tweaked various random patches to produce cool new ones: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/220 ... 20vol1.zip

Very nice work here, I think you should. Just take it a few seconds of music progress at a time right?

Thanks Brian, it's a cool synth that's for sure. Mind you, the original hardware was such a classic - would just love to have been able to play with one. EMS VCS3, Synthi-A, Moogs,Korgs etc great, but never got near an Odyssey. Still have my original DEwtron resin encased modules from the days when I built my own beast. Probably about time I stuck them up on eBay - probably the last of their kind around anywhere - they were pretty bad, but worked. 2 Osc's (one sin, tri, sqr output the other saw, sqr), VCF, SHE (sample hold envelope), VCA, patchpin panel (a la synthi), ring mod.

Picture here from synthmuseum (a claim to fame???)

Oh, yeah, I really enjoy that track! :)

Sure, Rob, I think you should give those "ambient" ideas a try, specially because Odsay is awesome for such sounds. It will be interesting to see what you'll be able to come up with using that musical ideas with this little beast. ;)

Hahahaha! Yep, a boogie woogie might be a little too far, but after that bluegrass you created with TAL-Bassline, everything is possible. :D

I like this synth, it is dual polyphony, right?, hopefully i will find some free time this month, and extra inspiration.

Have a nice day and good luck :)

This synth is fun. I was fooling around with it and couldn't help myself but go for the one below.
