Hi.
I'm working on a track for my new EP and I planned on finding someone to sing on one of the tracks, but its harder than I thought to find someone. Anyone have any tips? The genre type is Melodic Dubstep you can take a listen to the track here - https://soundcloud.com/scott-yang-patri ... d-a-singer
thanks guys.

Yeah, I thought that if you send the link when the song is private then people would be able to listen.ghettosynth wrote:Track is private or inaccessible.

I think the problem is, that if you hire a singer it can be expensive (I don't expect you will pay $400)?
You can also think about a collaboration for a limited time (some tracks, a EP, a album). Give this a name "my project ft. the singer" and see what happens.
Try to ask on different platforms like Gearslutz, your Facebook (fan)page, Facebook Groups with a similar style/genre, Soundcloud, Reverbnation, Youtube...
Btw. there are also some session singers you can hire. I find this with Google (seems it's not so expensive, she ask for $65) http://singer-for-hire.com/

Actually I'm looking for someone to sing on my almost completed track - 'Return of the Glam Rockstar', but I'm looking for someone who can do a good impersonation of Gary glitter. So if anyone on KVR thinks they might be able to help, please submit vocals for download A.S.A.P. Much appreciated.

Maybe, but perhaps he doesn't relish being a homeless alcoholic prior to laying down the local track...pc2000 wrote:Couldn't he just do that with his own voice for free!?SODDI wrote:Pay some hobo ten bucks and a bottle of wine to do the lyrics, then AutoTune the bejezuz out of the track
