A friend came by the office today and messed a bit with the live MIDI performance mode of chipspeech.

Here's what he came up with:

Anything I do needs to be instantly playable, and its a thrill to see what others do with it!

Thanks guys! this was just one voice. I hope to make a 'serious' video highlighting every unique voice leading to the release date (which could move a notch - we want to do it right of course).

BTW Delay Lama was released in 2002,
I remember playing with it for hours, even though it had only vowels and no consonants.

here's a singing robot track i made with shit talker 1.2 back in 2006

shit talker stopped working when i got a win7 laptop so i'm really looking forward to seeing what i can do with chipspeech.

The goal of chipspeech is not realism or human-like voice quality though, so its something different.
