lol reason. what a piece of niche garbage. i have bought and sold this daw 5 times from 2.5-7 i guess that's a record. i sold it the final time when propellerhead started their shit with withholding the best propellerhead re and forcing their users to buy them separately. in the old days you would get a update with tons of new stuff well, not tons, but you would get a new synth or awesome effects they were updates that 'counted' nowadays reason is a money sinkhole. and their grandiose rack extension plan/selections is lackluster at best. good riddance!

They do mention that they will have a new guitar and bass amp for the rack.
But what i really wanted is new instrument, not another effect. Why must everything be optional RE instead? Comparing this to other DAW upgrade is laughable, especially when people like imageline is also redoing their GUI + mixer and will make it free for previous customer.

Maybe the problem lies elsewhere than on Propellerhead's side.AstralExistence wrote:lol reason. what a piece of niche garbage. i have bought and sold this daw 5 times from 2.5-7 i guess that's a record.

Well Reason 7.5 was already a free update for us. BUT, i don't know what's the big thing of dragging and dropping anyway. I have always wanted to know how people will start using Reason if there's finally a drag n drop feature.????

At least they don't charge 199EUR from .5 to .0, and 50 EUR every year for interim updates.xamido wrote:Lol, it's such a silly update unfortunately. Other DAW have had drag n drop + usable browser for a long time and now they want to charge $129 for previous user.
