As I go to bed at night I put on the Sony MDR 7509 headphones

I love the sound but can’t turn on the side as the ear will be resting on the pillow. I read some very nice things about the RHA MA 350 earbuds

I thought they would be more comfortable to wear at night and they were! The sound quality however was not that great, relatively speaking.
I should confess that I primarily listen to Classical music CD’s and listen to every nuance of the performance so anything less than very high quality is a real bummer. I now realize that I should have been wise enough not to expect these earbuds to be as good as the Sony’s.
Has anyone else made a earbuds to full headphone comparisons?
