Hello,
I saw this short video about mixing with pink noise:
Has any body tried this?
I have been playing with this technique for the first time and I liked the results. Of course, mixing in 30 sec is exagerrated but it's quicker than bringing up all faders without the noise because in my case, it needs more tweaking later.
Using the noise gave me a good starting point. I needed a bit tweaking afterwards of course, but isn't that the fun of it all?
I think this will make me less uncertain about how loud my hihats need to be in a mix.

Interesting. Probably not a good thing to rely on, but I'll bet we could gain a little insight from experimenting with it.
