Just playing around with Imageline's Minihost Modular and I discovered something interesting that's worth sharing...

Loading in an instance of OBXD - the well-known CPU killer with the fab sound - doesn't use any CPU until notes are played. Usually, OBXD uses as much as 20% or more as soon as it's loaded, but loaded inside Minihost it doesn't use any CPU when silent.

This may be useful for some. The downside is, there's currently no way to load/save fxb/fxp from within Minihost, so loading all those banks is impossible ATM.

I am going to release obxd 1.1 soon with better cpu behaviour when idle and some new features.

For now this might help, if you want to use OBXD outside of Minihost.

Put it before OBXD in the signal chain and increase it's output until the CPU (hopefully) decreases.
