just looking at the seemless looper page. i think the Level Equalizer feature alone would be worth the extra money. When you try to find the loop points for something like a bass guitar sample, you sometimes get this big ass attack and than not very much of a sustain section, pretty much all a gradual release. That's hard as hell to find loop points for without crossfading. If seemlees can do this automatically, I think it definately be worth $40.

Audition 1.5 comes with around 5000 .cel loops, almost all recorded acoustically - in the multitrack view, you just insert the loop of your choice and drag the edge of it to replicate it the required number of times.
Not necessarily the answer to the above debate, but don't write it off totally on the looping front.
