Bad ?
It states "NME’s total reach across all platforms was now 3.6 million, “bigger than it has ever been” despite its decline in print. In its print heyday, the magazine sold more than 300,000. "
If total readership is " "bigger than it has ever been" and your saying that's bad,then what would you consider good ?
for the record, I don't read NME.Never have.

Gonna be sad if it closes down it's regular print edition, a web page can never quite be the same...
Before the internet, before DAB radios, before satellite TV, not much more than 20 years ago, the only way I had a decent chance to follow what happend in music, and learn about new releases was via NME, MM and the like

Do you (Numanoid) purchase NME every week?
I stopped reading magazines years ago, yeah you can blame the web. The only mag I read now is Sound On Sound, via an iPad subscription.
Books, I prefer the real deal, though ... it's just not the same on a pad.

Now I buy CM and Beat Magazine instead.
Seeing how NME, Q, et al print editions are falling, I am afraid that CM and Beat may be in the same boat
