Hi os,

Hope all is well at Expert Sleepers.

I am modifying one of the Augustus Loop GUI scripts on the website for something that better suits my needs, and this tiny issue/question has come up:

I wanted to ensure Digital Mode was active. So, with AL open in Bidule, using the default GUI, I set the pitch, tape sim, saturate, filter and inertia controls as per the manual. However, I still don't get a green indicator verification - it remains the default yellowish color. The Digital Mode button increases brightness when selected, and the banner verifies it is active, but the indicator just above it does not change states. And the language in the manual states it should, which leads me to think something is not correct in the settings I have. This occurs in the default script and also the Duochrome script found on the AL skin page.

I don't think I have ever seen the indicator go green for me in any of the versions I have used, currently 2.4.1, but I tried 2.3.1 today also.

As suggestions, am I missing something?

This behavior is same in 32 or 64 bit Bidule, 0.9740 & 0.9737 on two different machines.
Augustus Loop - both versions - w/ and w/o the FX loop - VST 32 or 64, v 2.4.1 or 2.3.1, on Win 7-64 and XP-64 Intel machines.

os,

issue resolved I think..a little update on this...

I found that the indicator will turn green, but it has a delay of a few seconds. Depending upon which control- related to digital mode- was changed, there is a (buffer?) lag before the indicator returns to green.

But, I apologize, the largest problem was op error. I was doing a silent test, I had not connected AL I/O inside Bidule, and although it was appeared to be processing, AL was not totally active, it needed to be connected to something to respond correctly. So the indicator would not change states, although other features of the GUI appeared to be functioning, at least to the ignorant eye.

Best

Tom

Aha. Yes, that all sounds right.
