Very nice sound, but what a CPU hungry beast this is! Almost made my 3GHz PIV choke when playing 5 voices, using the instrument and supplied rotator effect at once.
Sorry to say so, but apart from standalone use this renders the thing useless. Emagic's EVB3 is sounding as good (well, actually even better) at a fraction of CPU consumption (and NIs B4 is using even less, but of course their Leslie is pure shite as well).
Great freebie though, maybe useable on a 15GHz machine in 5 years.

I've some glitches at fast runnings or full chords,
but mine is an Athlon 1000 with 512 RAM.
IKaldor assures it flyes with its P.IV 1.4 Giga.
If you have problems with a 3 Giga there must be
something else(full HD?too little RAM?need a defrag? ecc)to see.

No, regarding all my other plugins and overall performance, this machine is just kickass (it's a laptop btw) and I could hardly imagine that a fragmented disk (it isn't fragmented, btw) could have anything to do with it.pietro wrote:I've some glitches at fast runnings or full chords,

Thanks everyone for the feedback!!!!
I've got two systems:
1: an Athlon XP 1.4 GHz (off the shelf Compaq 7550)
Running both LightBag and SpinBag, 7 notes down,
I got 40-45% cpu usage, using Chainer as host.
2: on my Laptop (new, clean) a 1.4 GHz Centrino Toshiba Satellite M35-S359, same gives 23-26% cpu.
For live use I got no problems, no gliches ...
I tried to record in OPlat, it is surely
too fat for that.
or Delpi coded LightBag could have been half as much (or less) cpu hungry.
I tried to make both LightBag as well as SpinBag
as tweakable as possible ... so one could "dial in"
as close as possible to their "dream-tone".
ik.
