The PC version of the Dim D is now updated to V1.1.1. New features: Oversampling, new presets, lower CPU use, higher stability, windows 8 installer and enhanced sound. Because we added new features it is possible that the settings are not restored after upgrading to V1.1.1.
Demo's and downloads are all updated. For existing clients you can login on our website and download the package. It also has the update installer, that does not remove the keyfile. Please do not deinstall the old version, because the the files that are changed are overwritten.
Enjoy this chorus!

Hi Harrie!
Your webpage shows that the bug that annoys me every day is solved:
EMpTy 250 PC VST
After closing the file in Samplitude the Gui need to be opened before the reverb is active Solved
Is there a new PC VST version available that has this fix?
I tried downloading but just got the old v205.

Ok, I can't remember what I responded to but considering reverb is kind front and center for me right now, could some people comment on the 250 and x64 win7 these days (or just general comments about the sound) 99euros is kinda high unless it's tits.

It's tits if you want THAT sound. You really should try the demo.
My main verb for a given song usually ends up being one of these three (based on the vibe that the song needs). Others do get used for specific instruments but these are the main workhorses:

- PhoenixVerb: stealth. Unobtrusive. Don't know it's there until you mute it.
Relab LX480: Grease, butter... Can be also subtle but even in small doses adds that little extra something.
EMpTy250: wonderfully immersive but "sparse" - does not steal all the space even when turned up. Very organic and vibey.

No, they are demo restrictions. Wow to this reverb sound, seems stable so far (though I know the full version is a different product and can't test that.
Love the simplicity. Did I say I love the sound??????

The latest version is certainly stable as an AU in Logic 10.0.7 on OSX 10.9.4.hibidy wrote:No, they are demo restrictions. Wow to this reverb sound, seems stable so far (though I know the full version is a different product and can't test that.
Nice and simple to use and works well on many things, particularly drums and vocals, basically things that will remain panned centre in a stereo mix.

One other issue I'm having with the 250 that I'm not sure is a demo restriction, unless I go to the return track and open the GUI, I get no sound. Then it's fine no matter how many instances. Anyone confirm/deny?

It's a known bug. The good news is that on the ERS site this bug is marked as SOLVED. The bad news is that us users don't have the fix yet (at least PC VST, don't know about other formats).hibidy wrote:One other issue I'm having with the 250 that I'm not sure is a demo restriction, unless I go to the return track and open the GUI, I get no sound. So Harrie - ain't it time for a new release? Pretty please...

Samplitude is PC only. It has no Mac version, so I would presume the fix for it is for PC VST.rdnzl wrote:Hi Harrie!

The PC version of the EMpTy 250 I am working on now. The updates we did on the mac are now ported to PC. I am going to send the first attempts to betatesters in a few days.
Did the updateinstaller of the Dim D place the x64 file incorrectly?
