Soon. SCAMP first.

Which error is that? (If it's the one about the folder, just create it manually.)

Were you about to work around that error message, Echoes? (Was it the one about not being able to write to that folder, or another one?)

SCAMP 1.30 BETA 2 is out, so I'm back to Poly-Ana now. Should just be another day or two.

For anyone interested in SCAMP, this is probably the last update of the BETA, so if you want to take advantage of our HALF PRICE, Buy-it-in-BETA SALE, now would be the time. FYI.

Cheers everyone!

It's the chunk size one I was talking about. I don' tknow if that affects anything serious though.

The folder issue I was able to work around by creating a new path and folder. But I'd rather be able to put the key file in my actual user folder (on a separate internal HD) rather than a new path on my system HD mimicking that folder.

No it doesn't, but yes, it's annoying. Another day or two and we'll have an update for you.

And that should be fixed too! Waiting to hear if the new SCAMP BETA 2 update fixed it for SCAMP. (We don't have a machine configured that way, so need the users to test that one for us.)

Great news, I'll be happy to test Poly-Ana.

Good to hear news about the ongoing development of one of my favorite synths! Now... how about that ADT? ;)
A well-behaved signature.

Expecting to switch to that right after this next Poly-Ana BETA update! (It'll still be a while though. As usual we do the graphics first, which take a fair amount of time. The preview images you've seen of ADT so far have just been a stand-in quickly made up of existing elements from the other products. Will be re-doing all of that from scratch. And don't worry folks, we've heard you. NO PERSPECTIVE THIS TIME! :P )

please stand-by (bad edit)

Arrrgh! I keep hitting the wrong heiroglyph!

Okay, sorry about that. (It's been a LONG day!)

Poly-Ana 1.20 BETA 2 is out! Get it here http://www.admiralquality.com/products/Poly-Ana/

Here's what's new:

1.20 BETA 2 2014-08-25

- Added Poly-AnaFX, the effect version that allows processing of and/or modulation from the audio inputs.

- OSX: In AU hosts, regular Poly-Ana will now show in your instrument list. Poly-AnaFX will appear as a “MIDI Enabled Effect” in your AU effects list.

- Added authorization info to the Options Dialog/Splash Screen.

- MIDI Program Change is now supported, and an option has been added to enable or disable it.

- Fixed: Volume knob is now obeying Knob Mode option.

- EXPERIMENTAL: Hold feature. Held keys are now shown as depressed in Poly-Ana’s virtual keyboard. Poly-AnaFX has also added held keys to the two effect demo programs (001 and 002 in Poly-AnaFX). Held keys are particularly useful in the effect version for allowing sound to pass through the voice envelopes.

- Sustain (damper) pedal MIDI control now changes state at value > 63 rather than value > 0 as before.

- Fixed: MIDI-Learn box no longer leaving a mess behind when closed
- IMPORTANT: Sorry, but we’ve had to change the location of Poly-Ana’s .key, .ini (configuration) and .pam (MIDI Map) files on OSX again. They are now under your user folder in ~/Library/Application Support/Admiral Quality/Poly-Ana/ You will need to create this folder manually, and if you have authorized Poly-Ana you will need to locate your key-file there. (We plan to eventually have this created automatically by an installer script.)

- Fixed: OSX: User folders on disks other than the system disk should now be correctly detected. (Let us know, please!)

- Fixed: “Bad chunk size” message is now shown in parameter display instead of a dialog box. And the cause of the bad chunk size message should be gone now. (Let us know, please!)

- Fixed: Options Dialog was not appearing again if editor was closed while it was open.

There will be at least one more update in the this BETA series, which will include, among other goodies, L'il Poly-Ana. But wanted to get this out as there's already enough changes to track.

Let us know how it works for you, particularly the Mac user folder in a location not on the system drive issue.

Thanks all!

About Poly-AnaFX, this is already in the windows version? Is that announcement for the Mac version?

It wasn't in the new Beta till now. Rolling new stuff out gradually, for sanity's sake.

Cool. So I guess with the fx version it has all the features from pre-beta at this point right? Any word on this?:

I'm pretty curious what these are. Beta 3 maybe?

Everything and more. We are moving forward, not back!

Authorization fey folder issue is all good with the new path. And no more chunk error. Looks good!
