Recording level is too low for an audio track when using MacBook microphone??!!

Hello
I'm very new to MuLab.
I'm trying to record some audio using my MacBook's inbuilt microphone, but I receive the message that the level is too low.
I have set up an aggregate device, and turned the MacBook's input level all the way up.
I can route the metronome or synth track to an audio track without problem.

I'm running OS X.4.11.

First thing to check now is whether audio is coming into MuLab. You can do so in the Modular Area by directly connecting the audio input module to a rack and watch the rack's level meter while you fed audio input. If no audio level is coming into MuLab -> the monitoring rack, continue checking your audio setup.
