Unfortunately no more iLok, only Pace software license.

uggh deal breaker...

As far as I know you can always transfer the soft iLok licence to an iLok dongle and take it anywhere...

I also bought Vacuum Pro yesterday ($49 promo)...and on the strength of that I did the instrument pack promo upgrade for $129. Holy mother of all smokes...where has Air Music Tech been all my life!

Loom and Hybrid 3 are immense and then you got Structure with a 30GB library covering all the standard stuff very nicely indeed. I haven't even had chance to look at Strike or Transfuser yet.

Air need to step up their marketing. Check out Russ' (Pro Tools Expert) demo's on YouTube if you're not sure. Big thumbs up! :tu:
How did you get Vacuum for $49? Can't find this price/promo anywhere...

I might pick up Loom, it's kinda similar to Razor in the way it deals with additive synthesis, but with a different twist... Will I be able to upgrade to AIEP at $129 in the following months, or is that price only until the end of this month, too?

Not sure. They posted the upgrade offer again today on their FB page : https://www.facebook.com/AIRmusictech
I'd post a query or email Air.

Hmmm, seems like after all it is NOT possible to transfer the soft licence to an iLok. Argh. :/

Not even if you delete the license on your PC first?

What annoys me a bit with UVI in this regard is that I bought Synth Anthology before one could authorize directly on PC, only iLok.

Now that they have allowed licence to sit directly on PC for other products, I also get an option to authorize SA directly on my PC, but they will charge me $29 to do so

It reminds me when itunes when DRM free, but you had to pay to free files you had bought from them before that took effect

Not even then. Just read it on their FB:

Q: Can I put my license on my ilok or do I have to use the soft version only?

A: Hi Alex unfortunately that is not a feature of our VI's at this time. License is currently per machine.

I sent an e-mail to get the promo code, and was told that they "preferred" if I upgraded within 30 days. I told them it would probably take me 60 days, and they said that should be fine. Don't know if the upgrade code actually expires or not, though.

Looks like minimum of 2 machine activations allowed..

I don't mind limitations with the total number of authorizations but I am definitely not a fan of this case-by-case basis for confirming authorizations when you go over the limit. Just give me a way to deauthorize a previous one through a license manager of some sort.

Agreed.
I note that Air have just released "The Riser" demo...and that uses software iLok. I guess they are shifting in that direction.

Yes, Vacuum Pro and Loom can be had for $49 until end of month. Promo codes are VacPro49 & Loom49.
If after purchasing you don't get an instrument expansion upgrade code for $129, send an email to the address posted in the thread.
Great thanks, thought i was reading it wrong! :tu:

Yeah Loom reminded me of Razor right away. Vacuum pro i'm not sure about could do with hearing some juicy demos of teh magic, anyone? :D
