After some days with testing and screwing there is my first Resumee:

Because i have enough Compressors and other effects, primarily the synthesizers interest me.

paraphrasis synth:

i dont test it, because i do not install "Microsoft Redistributable for Visual C++ 2013 - vcredist_x86.exe. " for a lttle plugin, sorry :scared:

Acrobatics Mate:

little synth with some nice sounds, but they need some more features and
eventually a bigger GUI ;)

Lucid:

Fine Synth with many Options and very Low CPU Consumption !!
Well done and one of my favours !
If the developer still adjust the regulators on vertical I would be glad ;)
Moreover, some nicer buttons would be good.
Otherwise a nice Synth for Pad sounds and wide sound walls.

Guitar Gadgets:

Nice Gui and some amusing Effects, i try it with some E-Piano Plugs and it sounds intresting,
but some of the knobs are to harsh, at one moment you have no effect and if you turn a
little bit more there are heavy Distorsions. Maybe the developer should adjusting there something else.
But all together a very amusing Multieffect.

Mormox Imitate:

My other favour, a very nice subtractive Synth. Quick and intuitively serveable.
It surprises me every time how differently the sounds from this little box are.
Clarify old-fashioned surface. I also do not know why, but I love it

Thanks for your comment ;) I may change the course of some effect knobs indeed if their effect is too strong. Do you think about one particularly ? I guess it may be the Crusher for example :hihi:

Have you even tried it without ? Here it worked without the package and he delivers dll and vst3.
You are missing on one of the best entries in this DC...

It's an impressive resume, but what work experience do you have?

This sentence makes me think of a proud, high-stamina, virile insomniac, lab worker type, looking for a job. Is it wrong to think that? Oh, well. Back to testing, and only testing, alas. :( :)

@ RunbeerRun:

You ask for my "Work experience"? I am an ambitious amateur musician.
I use some different Sequencer for some years.
(Cubase, Samplitude, Cakewalk)
Moreover, I played some years in a classical-rock coverband. Keyboard, flute and guitar.

Now a few other impressions:

Everything of course very subjectively :hihi:

Cri:

Nice little Synth, have some intresting features, but not a "must have" for me,
to much words in the Help btw

Lokomotive

Hmm, for such an easy Plugin need no one a specially installation programme.
The developer should have invested his time rather in a few patches.
Clean surface, but every other Plugin is able to do these sounds better.

Strum

Nice Pluck and Stringsynth, the Gui is little bit small, but efficient.
Some Soundpresets sounds a little thin, with some adjustments they
comes better, my Sample-Strings are more realistic, but for some
Sounds Strum is awesome.

X3 Midi

SORRY, One should not submit such an incomplete product.
And whats about the "Demo-Text" ?? Only Free Plugins are allowed, i think !?
The surface is awful. Many Parameternames are absent. Very squalid work.
Some sounds would be good if one could hear them. Minus 5 points !

here is another resumee of a friend of mine, maybe you find this interesting too...

Sorry for hijacking your topic :)

Well my votes went to:

- "Strum": 5 points (it's brilliant for what it does; I don't mind the small GUI and it I find it very efficient in covering a specific type of sounds. I LOVE it).

- "Lucid": 4 points (the only thing that kept me from giving it 5 points was the issue with FL Studio; oterwise I think it's the best Xenobioz instrument to date and it really takes it to the next level. Good job).

- "Abstract Grooves 2": 3 points (just my cup of tea when it comes to Kontakt libraries; sounds good, works good, I like it).

- "Rez3": 2 points (IMO it still needs a bit more work & polishing, but it's a cool plugin even as is; when used on the right sound source, it's capable of some nifty tricks and I like that it pushes the envelope a bit).

- "Toned": 1 point (I have already way too many effects, but this one has a couple of very nice usable presets out of the box. Anything that can find its way into my setup & workflow gets my vote).

As for the rest....

"Crio" - seemed like a good idea (exactly my type of synth), but unfortunately the arp is a bit erratic and the factory presets are underwhelming (trying to be nice). I've tested it in a song format and it simply didn't work.

"Lokomotiv" - seems to be one of the darlings of DC, but it didn't do it for me. I'm sorry to say this, but it's very crude and somehow slappy compared to the dev's previous creation. And most important it lacks critical features that I look for in a synth. Not for me.

"NanoMod 7" - to me it looks like a little side project thrown in DC without actually investing the time to create a solid full-fledged instrument. It may be fun to toy with a bit, but to me it's simply too limited and thin overall to be worth keeping.

"Q-meleon" - I might be wrong, but wasn't this launched just days before DC actually started? Anyway...

"Mormox Imitate" - not my cup of tea. Really.

"Fifth Degree" - seems like a nice plugin, but I'm on Windows, so...

"Flextron" & "Emissary" - both letdowns. I'm sure ppl will find them usable (I know some are raving about "Emissary" already), but not me.

"EpiCentre" - TD is one of my favourite underdog devs. And this plugin is nice to some extent, but still it feels like it's missing something. CPU load was a bit of an issue too.

"Mate" - kind of nice, but overall a bit too bland sounding. Not my cup of tea.

"Guitar Gadgets" - nice idea, original layout, but ultimately the sound is lacking clarity and focus. Even if the fx were created precisely not to mimick certain pedals, except for 2, they are too finicky to make them sound (fairly) good. It needs a lot more polishing - IMO, of course.

"Acon Digital Multiply" - probably another DC darling, but not my type of "chorus with a twist". I expected it to be more precise (judging by the description) and subtle.

"FractionalDelay" - um...no. Not for me.

"ReFine" - nice to some extent, but there are better options.

I've tested the other plugins as well.

So yeah, I may be biased when it comes to a certain type of plugin, dev, features, or whatever. And of course I'm subjective. But that's my take on this DC. On one hand there were a good number of well designed products. On the other hand not many stood out (for me) and some gave me the impression the devs did not take DC seriously this time - but of course, it may be just me. I'm still expecting for a rock solid full featured instrument to be launched through the next DC - if there will be a next edition - but I know freeware may not be appealing enough to commercial developers to invest a lot of time & effort into it...

My final Voting:

1 Point goes to Strum
Good stabil Programming, some sounds are aweseome

2 Points goes to Guitar Gadgets
Interesting Concept, if the Dev make some adjustings it is well

3 Points goes to Acrobatics Mate
little synth with some nice sounds, need some more features

4 Points goes to Lucid
Fine Synth with many Options and good Pads
but the FL-Problem sucks

and finaly 5 Points goes to Mormox Imitate
Good Sounds, nice GUI , maybee the only stabil and bugfree entry
at this DC, good Support from Developer

Just my Opnion :)
