+1

Internal layering is almost useless to me - saves exactly 3 mouse clicks in Reaper if i want to layer 2 instances instead.
The "Fatness" demonstrated in the video can be achieved in any synth that has unison.
Overdriving individual parts is interesting, but most of the overdriven sounds i heard in that demo video can be replicated by many synths that have filter overdrive.

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't sound bad, just the amazement and total love it gets from some kvrerers here is a bit strange.

And comparing it with Diva ? Hahaha wtf ? Not even in the same league.

Nice guys... now I had to buy it too. When should I expect to receive a promo code for upgrade deal for the whole package?

With Diva I can't help but compare it to my Moog , Rolands , Korg and Oberheim which doesn't make me wanna put them away ...simply because the original hardware synths sound better.

With Vacuum Pro on the other hand I have nothing really to compare it to.
Hybrid has unique features , sounds and is more convenient compared to my Microwave and Virus.
Loom has nothing to be compared with.

The sound and features of these 3 plug ins give me inspiration for new records while the virtual clones of hardware classics don't inspire me and don't move me soundwise.
Nice to play around a bit , but not to replace the originals on records.

But of course this is just a matter of taste and maybe this OG Kush I got made them sound extra tasty 8)

I like Velvet, judging from the audio examples it sounds very authentic. But it is 3GB if I remember correctly :(

And all their stuff is for 64-bit hosts only, right? I assume that costs them a lot of customers, which is probably why they are having that desperate sale 8)
I mean, those guys seem to have great products, but they are basically absent from the scene. I never see anyone mention them on KVR for instance.

The user interface of the Vacuum Pro seems rather dark, the labels are hard to read even on the huge screenshot, which is probably much bigger than the original GUI. And that bruised and used military look?! Really?

Velvet download for mac is 500MB, and the installed folder is less than a gig. I guess 3GB is the space required to perform the install process. I think everything's 64bit.

This thread is certainly going to raise awareness in KVR. I knew next to nothing about Air until couple of days ago, I was probably more familiar with the name Wizoo. Air marketing...you reading this? :)

i think they're under the radar because they've only recently become available as VST. so the fact that they need to build their reputation is understandable.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

The only things i find painful about this are:
1. Very bad management of registrations, installations e tc...you have to register each product
separately and retype the whole info about each product every single time.
2. The Installers are hidden in the Zips that you have to look for them.
3. Velvet has no Installer, only expands the content but i can not find the Installer.

Good to know. I was also wondering about the Mac/PC issue: it appears you have to select one or the other when you purchase. That's a big break with tradition; does it mean you have to purchase two entirely different licenses if you want to run these plugins on both platforms?

It's a bit convoluted... And I'm having trouble with Authorization at the mo'. It doesn't seem to recognize the codes. Hmm..

My download account has both PC & Mac versions.
No issues with mac installers or authorisation my side.

Breeze, as DB 3 said, you get both, Mac Installers, PC Installers, Mac Codes and PC Codes.
