Velvet download for mac is 500MB, and the installed folder is less than a gig. I guess 3GB is the space required to perform the install process. I think everything's 64bit.

This thread is certainly going to raise awareness in KVR. I knew next to nothing about Air until couple of days ago, I was probably more familiar with the name Wizoo. Air marketing...you reading this?

So, how does it sound? As good as in the audio examples?

What about CPU usage for those AIR synths and stuff?

Velvet is by far the best electric piano on the market ! I experiment cpu spikes with strike in cubase 7.5.2, but the overall cpu consomption is very good.

Your license can be used on both it is purely to enable tracking the popularity of each platform.

And all their stuff is for 64-bit hosts only, right? I assume that costs them a lot of customers, which is probably why they are having that desperate sale

The user interface of the Vacuum Pro seems rather dark, the labels are hard to read even on the huge screenshot, which is probably much bigger than the original GUI. And that bruised and used military look?! Really?

@sbangs_air - I'd very much like to see an update for Loom and Vacuum Pro with more than 6 voices of polyphony. 16 sounds nice and cool - todays CPUs shouldn't have any problems with that. Pretty please

EDIT: Just purchasing Loom, it's adding $7.50 as tax... however, I can order via my company which is VAT registered in Croatia. Where can I enter my VAT ID so that tax is deducted (at least I suppose it's VAT that's being added to the price)?

Our most recent update adding a new instrument, AU/VST support and a selection of other features was only $29.99! We recognize that our users are investing in us and we want to do right by them also.

Depending on your location Digital River our E-Com partner is required to add local taxation. Boo!
Customers can contact Digital River directly at enquiriesemea@digitalriver.com with their VAT details to request an exemption.

They seem to be quite slow, Croatia has been a part of EU for over a year now, they should've included it among the EU countries in their system by now (which means there should have been a "VAT ID" field while placing the order when I'm supposed to enter my info)... :/ I had a similar problem ordering from u-he (they're also using Digital River) some months back.

I have reached out to Digital River to see if there is a quicker way to do this. Unfortunately some tax law can be slow to update.
