Found this page with fairlight samples. Have downloaded them but not tried them yet. But i thought i'd share it with you guys anyway. The "lowquality" 8 bit 11000khz samples of the fairlighr have a character of their own.

this is a nice page. I remember getting these a few weeks ago just after getting 'komplete' and going sample crazy for anything to stick into kontakt.

Ahhh....thought so...and now for the big question. How do i get my exs24 sampler to recognise these akai progs. DO i need to make an akai disc (and how is that done) or is it enough to put them in a folder and then my exs will be able to do it from there?topaz wrote:Akai progs

Don't know if exs converts .akp programs. If not you need cdxtract.

There has just been an EXS-mailing-list effort in converting ALL the Hollowsun patches into EXS patches.
Some have been done manually, some were created using Chickensys' Translator.
You can find the EXS patches here:

Of course you will still need the appropriate samples from Hollowsun.
FWIW: Both Kontakt and HALion import EXS patches fine (at least the keymappings), so you wouldn't need any conversioon util as long as you're using one of those either.
