Thanks for the info. This plug looks like it could shape into something really kick ass. Sorry, I know I'm out side of your target customer base, but as a guitarist/keyboard player my fingers are usually tied up and I need everything to be done via midi on the floor. The quantize thing is pretty huge for me too as I like to focus on playing and just give a heads up record message and have it automatically start recording and looping what I've been playing. I think a lot of people would appreciate these features.

You're welcome!
For now you could simply activate (start/stop) recording using a foot pedal that outputs MIDI CC's. Using Livemachine (not LE) you can also do sort of auto-quantized recording then.
