Just saw it in the news column, Super Jay 2 is out, a SE synth, for an intro price of 69 bucks, you are nuts, sorry

And the rumour is that the price is likely to go up!
Note: CPU Usage: Quite Heavy. Amen to that, the demo spikes the CPU meter
And there is a big blitz flash in the GUI, making it impossible to read some of the controls, WTF
With Arturia Jupiter V at $50 for couple of more weeks, hardly the time to enter with such a high price

On their site it says "Mac version is at least 6 months away" I thought if it was SE then it couldn't be developed for the Mac.fluffy_little_something wrote:Just saw it in the news column, Super Jay 2 is out, a SE synth, for an intro price of 69 bucks, you are nuts, sorry

The win VST demo I downloaded is nevertheless only 32 bits, can't see a 64 bit demo....?Examigan wrote:On their site it says "Mac version is at least 6 months away" I thought if it was SE then it couldn't be developed for the Mac.fluffy_little_something wrote:Just saw it in the news column, Super Jay 2 is out, a SE synth, for an intro price of 69 bucks, you are nuts, sorry

He is waiting for 64-bit SE to be released, like so many SE developers. I suppose half a year is a reasonable time frame.Examigan wrote:On their site it says "Mac version is at least 6 months away" I thought if it was SE then it couldn't be developed for the Mac.fluffy_little_something wrote:Just saw it in the news column, Super Jay 2 is out, a SE synth, for an intro price of 69 bucks, you are nuts, sorry

Manx will ship several synths in November
Prices still at intro, getting a bit tempted after all, as Gigmate 2 sounds mighty fine

Glad I waited - the special intro price was about double what they're currently going for!
So, the SJ's $34, the MM+ and Destiny $19 apiece ... mmmmm, that Ody clone for around £12 is a bit of a no-brainer, if it sounds anything like I remember ...
And it seems the dev's moving from SE to C++, if I read his blog right. So maybe this is the last price-cut for a while?

None of the really dumb people I knew when I was young are young any more.
