I like when new hosts come out because the KVR market place will have old ones for sale .... I wonder what new features S1-3 will have ???? Maybe a Gumbo recipe ? Or Cafe au lait and beingets ? Lolz .. I gotta get to nawlins soon ....who DAT who DAT ...

What's most bizarre about all this (to me, mmv as usual) is that Studio One is but one product among many from that company and everytime they do a "something's coming soon" ad announcement, some start assuming it's for Studio One instead of being any of the many, many other areas that they make and sell for other than a daw.

I guess we here just have "hosts on the brain" with blinders on.

Now if that ad was from Bitwig or Cockos or similar, sure... that would be a safe assumption since they don't make anything else but a DAW really.

it isnt sept 2 tho...

lol if this is the sept 2 announcement, they might have created one of worst teasers for an ipad app..or one of the worst executed teaser/ad for a product.

I don't think tomorrow's announcement will be S1 v3, but I'd be very happy if it were. That said, I do think Capture points to what the S1 v3 interface will look like.

Yeah, but if the announcement shows a guy staring at a computer screen, isn't it very self-evident that the new product will be a software?
I think it's pretty logical to assume that.

(If one don't assume that PreSonus is starting to fabricate LCD-monitors
