This months entry came about after a chat whilst driving to work about how these days people depend so much on internet and social sites, compared to 20 years ago.
Kind of got me thinking about the future dreamers, imagineers and the dream realisers (a bit deep this month
).
An obvious one is the long documented one of man's venture into space, from the imagineers whose future dreams lead the way and can some traced back hundreds of years, always seem fantastically strange, exciting new worlds, yet some with a dark almost foreboding tale, to the present realisers of those dreams and those that live them like the magnificent International Space Station.
Hence the picture is a merge of past and present worlds with a past image from a 1958 publication "How to Draw Rockets & Spaceships by Charles Sargeant and a recently present image of space shuttle docking docking at the international space station.
So I present an Ode to the future dreamers, imagineers and the dream realisers. The dream lives on.

Well, finally I've finished up another track for an OSC. The last two months I just got super sick of working on my track. ODSay was just too much fun tho.
Anyhow, I'm not sure how well this track will go over with this group; it's electronic experimental noise music. But hey!! It's what I enjoy making and listening to. That's the important thing, right?
Anyhow, here's the details.
Title: Strange Quark
DAW: Reaper
Instances of ODSay: 5
Effects Used:
5x ReaEQ
5x TrackReaControl
5x Spectral AutoPan v1.5
2x SlickHDR
2x 5orcery
2x Density MkIII
Molot on master bus

Reaper 21 instances.
ReaVerb, ReaEQ, ReaDelay, ReaComp, Camel Crusher, Epic Verb, Tal Reverb II, Mundt LoudMax.
Done on the work PC via headphones so mix may be a little rough. Even rougher than usual

Ok. Since some people already commented my track on SC I decided not to update it. It was a test upload to check sound quality. I'd like to make some changes on mastering but I'm fine with it now.
The ODSay VSTi and me will not become friends, but its interesting at all. I tried a lot new things in this track and maybe not all is perfect. Hope you like it anyway.
I enjoyed all the help going on in this forum and used some of the suggestion. Thank you.

I was crazy with ODsay

Daw - Live
Instrument: ODsay (x26)
DAW FX: EQ, reverb, autofilter, filter delay, autopan, Utility(gain), compressor, multiband dynamics, limiter.

Excuse me, I'm new here, so will anyone please explain exactly how and where the VOTING will take place?? I take it there would be a separate topic for this? It's not done through the soundcloud group, no?

Hello,
this is Rotation 22 ... a nice synth this month i would test in the past, but never find the time.
It make some problems with my FL Studio in scrambling in some times by playing the track (and eating
very much memory) , but over all: a great vintage VSTi for warm sounds.
So here it is:
Songname: Kraftraum - Rotation 22
Host: FL Studio 10.0.9
ODSay: 28 Instances
Insert FX:
IxoxDelay x 3, Lightweight Compressor x 2, Loudmax x 17,
Fruity Parametrics Eq2 x 16, Fruity Compressor x 3,
T-Force Trance Gate x 2, Fruity Filter x 2
Master FX:
Fruity Parametrics Eq2
Fruity Compressor
Loudmax
(Fruity Spectroman)
DR: 10
Some patches i take from the original manual and change them, most of the patches are
done from scratch.
Have fun with the track

That happens with all Elektrostudio plugins in FL Studio. Sometimes there is like a little burst of silence, buffer gets a peak, CPU gets a peak for 1 second. But it continues forward.kraftraum wrote:Hello,

Thankfully, this doesn't happen when rendering.
Yes, there will be another thread. But voting is in a dedicated website, if i'm not wrong.BRTD2005 wrote:Excuse me, I'm new here, so will anyone please explain exactly how and where the VOTING will take place?? I'm also "new" here. It was long ago when i was participating in OSC. So i don't know all the new rules if any.
Have a nice day everyone and good luck
