Jethro Tull's original bassist, Glenn Cornick, who played on the band's first three albums, died of heart failure on August 29th

OMG, sad new, I see with JT years ago... The only member that did autographs after he play! RIP dear Glenn!

Never forget all his great bass lines... Living in the past rules! I'm growing with this Music!

Oh so sad to hear this, Stand Up and Benefit are my favorite Tull recordings. (Hearing the opening riff from 'A New Day Yesterday' absolutely blew my 15 yr old mind)

I heard about that yesterday. Sad - those early albums were a completely different Tull than the later ones, I'm sure at least in part due to his input.
