No, not so huge. There are thousands and thousands of duplicates in it. And not only there are thousands and thousands of duplicates files... but there are also thousands and thousands of altered files which don't work at all!!!

As I said I'm currently making a huge collection (including all these collections of the web) but... without ANY duplicate file! And with ALL files working!

This collection as well as the collection of Dave Benson, of Acidboxblues, of Bobby Blues, of Chris's Music Site, of dx7.nl, of synthzone, and this Dx7_200k_collection, and others (I have collected around 20 free sources on the web)... all that will be included in my collection. But... without any dup in the sysex files!

It's a long work to sort all that and to delete the dups, even with specialized tools (I use my registered versions of Total Commander and Volcano Duplicate Cleaner).

So, just wait... You'll have a REAL huge collection!

For the moment, I'm at 1813 syx files, all making 4104 bytes and all working in Dexed. And I have not finished. I have still for about 5 or 6 days of work to end it all.

It will be a REAL exceptional collection, with ALL files working and without ANY duplicate file!

I have even managed to recompose entirely several collections which were incomplete, by gathering their elements one here, another there, etc. and by using the original documentations when I have them.

I have also managed to find back the original versions of some syx files which in these pseudo-huge collections... were altered by some failed conversions! (loss of headers, loss of final checksums, left or right shifts of some bytes leading to total inability to use, etc.)

Here is a first taste with 666 sysex files:

It means 666 x 32 = 21.312 first patches. And in some directories you'll find a txt file explaining why some *.syx are missing.

But be aware that it is a first taste... When my collection is finished you'll have tons and tons of other files, because I have not finished.

I downloaded a lot of files from the Internet in the past and they were a total mess. Thanks for having the patience to do this!

The UI is still very ugly and I'm not _that_ happy with the AMOD implementation... but I am very happy with the result of the OPL engine... basses just like I wanted !

The next version will focus on the UI; AZZZ will be helping me on this.

I would like to take the opportunity to ask you something VERY IMPORTANT for the persons who like me have a very bad eyesight.

I would be necessary to replace:

Then this (at the top, the color of the field and the size and place of the arrows):

And at last the color of the knobs all very white and bold instead of pale grey.

I repeat: it is VERY IMPORTANT for all the persons who like me and thousands of other musicians in the world have a very bad eyesight.

I believe it has been mentioned that the GUI will be given a new skin very soon. But I would also welcome the larger Left/Right arrows to navigate the patches.

As I see it (also less than perfect eyesight) the white-on-black cart listing offers less contrast than the black-on-white,so I prefer the black-on-white list. Although a less stark background colour than white is preferable ...

Btw. In your "Thank you's" you forgot "Dank je wel!" .
