Any word on this?
SE64 is here, but in alpha state (as you can see :? )

OK, here we go again.
New version 1.2 (64bit) should work now.

And it does work :D

CPU load is better too - av 12% in Studio One x64. Still nowhere near the 5% you're getting from the 32 bit version, but it's a big improvement from 23%.

One question: VST3 plugins can have built-in categories so that they show up in the host already organised into folders. FabFilter Timeless for example always appears in the "Delay" folder. At the moment Resom isn't categorised so it just appears in the parent VST3 folder. Is it possible when compiling the VST3 in Synthedit to give Resom a category? "Filter" maybe?

Cheers, Andy

It seems there's no way for this in Synthedit right now, only the distinction between Fx and Synth.

Nice fascinating Plugin... Thank You! :-)

Anyone have a chance to test whether the native 64 bit version, or a jbridged 32 bit version, works better?

This version has 3 resonator-voices with fixed interval.
If there will be enough reactions here or in FB, I will release a polyphonic (free chords) version for cheap.....

Only this one as VST3, and only experimental.

OK... The VST3 x64 seems pretty stable in Studio One so far. The only problem I encountered was when I loaded it on to a busy project and the extra 12% CPU hit slowed everything down.

It's a nice plugin, but I probably won't use it too much as it's not versatile enough right now. My first experience with the resonator effect was when I bought an Alesis Quadreverb back in the 80s. The resonator on that was extremely versatile. I would sometimes use it blended in with acoustic guitars or pianos, but that could be tuned.

If you decide to go ahead and upgrade this, I'll definitely try it. However, I won't buy it if it's a CPU hog. For me, 12% for this kind of effect is already too much.

Maybe as Jeff further develops Synthedit's x64 support, the CPU consumption will improve, because if you're getting 5% with the 32 bit version on your old dual-core, and I'm getting 12% on a recent i7 quad-core with the x64 version, then something 'aint quite right.

Most are using too many 3rd party modules not available as 64bit, or the number of past sales does not justify to rework them for SE64.

On my i5 Notebook running it inside SE64 it's 3%, loading it in SaviVHSThost it goes up to 10%. So it seems Jeff does has to improve the engine. :?
