Oh, oops, I'm late to this party I guessGreg Houston wrote:That's the video we've been talking about. Arkmabat posted it above a few posts ago. Hibidy and I have been contemplating our inadequacies in not being able to get a polished tone like that.blueman wrote:![]()
I think this R4 sounds epic!

Hey, I'm okay with that. I stand by what I said earlier in this thread: it takes a bit of work (i.e. tweaking) to make the magic happen, but the tones ARE there; R4 is specialGreg Houston wrote:I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Peavey participated in the making of it with the message of the ad being, "See, even a kid in his bedroom with a laptop can get awesome tone with Peavey Revalver 4". For me, the tone is much better with R4 (not comparable)Greg Houston wrote:I'm pretty sure that kid (Kang Yu Lu) could get good tone out of any amp sim.

It's still a bit amp simy in some cases but overall I'm happy with it. Yes, it's a tweakerville of tones.blueman wrote:Hey, I'm okay with that. I wanted to buy a few of the (nicely priced) $4.99 modules,Jacare wrote:Fixed: Not soon... now
but didn't see a way, from the amp store in the plugin using XP.
I could access the cart by going to the website's amp store.
Was I failing to see some widget in the plugin amp store?
PS Thankyou, for not implementing gear credits.
Learning guitar is hard enough already
Any chance that buying enough modules to cover
the full version price, would earn one the full license?
Cheers

That tab is misnamed in the plugin. It should be called something like "Licenses" or "Update Gear", but definitely not "Amp Store". You purchase the products on the website.glokraw wrote:I wanted to buy a few of the (nicely priced) $4.99 modules,Jacare wrote:Fixed: Not soon... now

Lol. I thought I had updated mine by downloading the current one off the site, but I guess not. When I try to insert one of the new modules it says they refer to circuits not available in this program.
Also, whoever made the seizure inducing sequence of flashing bad fonts in the About Peavey panel should under absolutely no circumstances whatsoever be allowed to do anything of a graphical nature ever again. This is what happens when one of the programmers thinks he can do graphics.
