You can paypal me the money, and I'll be happy to buy it 8)
:D

well...i'm in Switzerland, (out of EU though completely surrounded by it) and still have the change to pay in dollars exchanged from a (too) strong currency, compared to the other synth playing on a similar ballpark (Lush101, Diva, Poly-ana) it looks like a honest price ?

They may play together in the zero-delay feedback league, but there is more to a synth than that ;)

well...ok, ok, ...i was still waiting for some demos to hear but honestly, don't say it's impossible but i still will be surprised it sounds that bad that anyone won't adopt it even for free ? ...sound a bit harsh, IMO

For my ears Vier is definitely top notch analog modeling. Just check out how the filter slightly detunes when you pull up the resonance on the last 20%. Or how it starts beating and swirling when you pull up the overdrive. :tu:

Nevertheless, I think the focus for this instrument wasn't the (very good sounding) analog emulation but the basket full of possibilities you get from the voice modes in combination with the parameter linking and different values for the coronas.

Please Eisenberg, don't stop being different, you add a welcome flavor to the scene. Thanks!

+1

I, for one, appreciate the short sequence we can hear at the beginning of the video, it shows very skillfully both the musical potential and the uniqueness of your instrument

Still, and i know not being the only one to deplore this, i'm persuaded that a few more controls (realmarco for instance, suggested a record function for the morpher's movement) won't increases complexity of the instrument more than most of "Macro" controls of some of the biggest Usines a gaz of the VSTi world (Alchemy, Massive, etc...)

I might be biased as sound designer, though...

I tweak my own patches from time to time, so I guess I am a sound designer too?

I like the simple interface of Einklang, I find it good for drones and soundscapes.

undoubtely...

The idea is cool but it does sound very thin to my ears.

Hi Krakatau,
That is indeed a feature that gets requested pretty often. We're still not sure wether we should keep Einklang plain and simple and build another more komplex product around the morph engine to fully make most of it's potential useable. Nevertheless the recorder for control movements could still fit into the Einklang paradigm. But then we still have to see how this matches the polyphony... Anyhow, we'll definitely consider it.

I really love the way you can midi learn the mouse to control the triangle, and by double clicking it returns to normal functions. This is like getting a x/y hardware controller for free!

Are there other plugs that also do this? It would be fantastic to have this option for the remix pad in Alchemy for example.

Quick question - does anyone know if it is possible to create your own tone models from existing samples?

Thanks!

it isn't sample based in any ways, so no it's not !

Post

OK - I thought that the existing sounds were resynthesized versions of samples, and thus perhaps it was possible to resynthesize your own samples to include as morphable tone models.
