Can someone confirm that Plugin Alliance and Waves are among the 3rd party plugins Revalver 4 does not recognize or load?

I'm having issue now with the "xxx" and moving controls (treble for example)

Can you please elaborate on those issues?

i assume he's referring to the issues with turning knobs. it's not limited to XXX, though - this issue is all over the place. when turning some knobs, the sound doesn't change until you release the knob (a nightmare for tweaking tones on the fly). yet again turning some knobs results in what sounds like a "restart" of the amp (a moment of silence, a boom and then sound fading in). since this issue was so obvious i thought you guys already knew about that and were working on it, but i guess you didn't.

does anyone have any problems running Revalver 4 standalone executable after update? i can't run it...

EDIT: OK, after restart i can run Revalver 4, but it can't find my iLok. what a stupid copy protection method...

EDIT2: hm, seems to be a problem with USB port. none of my iLok-plugins work too.

EDIT3: nope, after restart, iLok is back, but Revalver 4 standalone can't start. plugin works OK.

I took the plunge - after repeated attempts with Firefox that all failed, I tried IE. :bang:

While it is still early, I have to say that the process generally seems unclear and inelegant. Maybe I missed something very obvious, but how can it be that I was not presented with a tool that let me check (identify!) the specific USB device to store the license? "Generic USB Drive" means nothing to me. :dog:

One question: are the modules still showing as demo not part of the initial bundle. I'm assuming that is the case, but thought I'd check anyway.

PS: What does this mean?

Good tip on the waves graphic eq. Thanks.
Countdown: 10h (69$ native).
Info: Created for live sound but equally useful in the studio as well.. (they say that)
(Voxengo Curve EQ is interesting. But i am also not a big fan of the Vox. GUIs.)

OT:
Revalver without tempo-sync anywhere also seems more live-orientated to me.
That's a bit strange for a software application, imho. Amplitube always has this little button on the bottom-side of stomps. A good solution which doesn't clutter the GUI..but is still there and always at the same position.
(I did not test the Revalver4 sound very much. All is just a personal 1st impression)

Like I said, you can get it for 59$ at audiodeluxe.
(creating an account does not harm)

AND it works with Revalver 4 !
Just put the 64bit waveshell in the pluginfolder, scanned by Revalver.

OT, I bought the waves because it's low/I'm well under my monthly "budget" and I'm pretty sure I'll use it a lot. If not, I'll see you in the marketplace soon :hihi:

BOT, I'm still interested in this EQ. I think the "rat" isn't gonna happen anytime soon because there is such a wide pallet of hi-gain distortion.

Has anyone tried the "wham" yet? :hyper: This is as close to the real thing as I've heard!!!!!!

Is that the whammy pedal? Personally, half of me understand wanting to recreate the whammy, another part of me thinks it should try to be better than the whammy in terms of polyphony and quality of the sound of pitch shifting

OK, the updated Revalver 4 not only doesn't load as standalone executable, it actually freezes the machine outright (my guess is it's in some kind of infinite loop while enumerating USB devices). i also can't log in to Revalver website so i could file a support ticket. nice.
