All of this is already supported ... for the sysex import, you need to put it in the dexed_cart.zip preset file.syntheticillusion wrote:asb2m10 can you have a button to add carts from imported syx files, and a save to syx file option,
everytime i use any syx files from dx7/tx7 and make preset sounds with the factory roms i can't save
to syx file properly, is there a way to do this already, i want to open a syx file i took from my
yamaha tx7 and modify all the sounds and save it to a syx file like an editor, does this version of
dexed v.0.6.1 support this function, also when i modify the syx file bank and save the bank to
syx file i would also like to import it to the cart menu, can this be possible with future versions?

I wonder what the new GUI is gonna look like and hopefully there will be some kind of dot marker to let you know which bank you've selected from the list.

I hope the patch browsing will be improved in a new version and updated GUI. Most of all I would like to see more contrast. A browser very much like the one of Tyrell N6 and Podolski would be preferable by a number of reasons.

when i choose the bank from the cart there's no marker letting you know which one you've already selected, so i end up picking the same one, or skipping one what if there was a preset i liked but cant tell which bank it was in i would have to search through all of them to find it again kind of annoying but i know this will be sorted out in future updates so i can deal for now.

Yeah I used to love the FM7 GUI. It would be cool if Dexed got that type of look.Maomoondog wrote:I would like to see the GUI look like a DX

Something user friendly would be preferable. After all a GUI is a working tool - not a painting.
