audiophile 2496 audio recording issue Flstudio

Hi,
I've posted the following issue on the tech section
of looptalk but a mod deleted my post without any notice wich sucks bigtime IMHO( It was my very first post @looptalk)

anyway, when I try to record a guitar part (I have this mixing board : http://www.birdlandmusic.net/catalog/Ph ... -1788.html )
all midi output(drum) gets recorded in the fresh recorded audio track.(audio bleeding ?)

Is there an option on the audiophile mixer-applet I should enable or disable or maybe there's another solution ?

my 2496 is setup like this in the patchbay router
hw out\1+2 set to wav out 1+2

hw out\s\pdif
wav out\s\pdif
get good results in cubase and fl studio

i don't really understand what's your problem.
Maybe it's an language problem. What's your native language? If it's german, rewrite ur question in german and i'm going to answer it in german.

When I try to record an audio track(guitar part)everything(The midi output too) gets recorded on the guitar track.
So what happens is: both input and output are recorded (I guess)

It has nothing todo with bleeding because the midi/audio will get record on the track you choose and nowhere else...assuming that you do all of your mixing in FL.
I don´t use FL that much but it seems that it´s simply a routing problem within FL.
Chek the manual for details...
Also, try to start with a fresh setup and make shure that you don´t have any default routing that screws up your recordngs.

mindless is right, it's a routing thing in fl
I was dinking around this morning and the first trak I did had everything recorded, just like you.
I rerouted stuff on the fl mixer, and finally got just the guitar recorded as i wanted.
I don't use fl that much either, but I have done some and just wanted you to know, yes it's possible.

Strange,
I've used the search function @looptalk and found a few topics where Elke
mentioned that it was not Flstudio but an audiocard problem.(topic closed)

I don't know a thing about routing, I will start there (->the manual )
