I really enjoyed the "Afterlife" track.
Production-wise, I think there are some opportunities to carve out the mid-range a bit in these pieces, though - just a little attention to each instrument would do wonders for these tracks. Not to be overly critical or anything, as I did enjoy the other tracks, too.
Welcome to KVR, btw. I noticed your last name as I was browsing and thought I'd have a listen. Where is your family from? Mine is descended from the Wilhauk family in Germany and we have some Irish/Welsh/English ancestors as well.

Nice to meet you. And thanks for the comments on my tunes. Shane - when you say, "Carve out the midrange", do you mean you hear a lot of mud in the mids on that song? Makes sense to me, as I was so happy with the sound of my acoustic guitar, which the rest was played to accompany, I was afraid to modify the eq...maybe I should have considered it.
And I was born with the name Boucher. My mom re-married and we changed our last names to Sanders...I'm not familiar with their history. Could be though!

The other tunes were the ones that seemed to have a lot of competing midrange frequencies. The tune featuring the acoustic was more balanced as far as EQ goes.JeffSanders wrote:Hey Shane and SonicCat-

KVR has a lot of good engineers. You could get plenty of good advice here on how to remedy the mixes.

There is something so incredibly appealing to A short burst of clarity to which I cannot put my finger on. Just like Agent Orange it has this slow compelling drive that makes me sway with the rhythm.
Some pretty good guitaring happening in the these tracks.
Apparition seems to come from a different angle without guitars. And personally I think this is my favorite somehow. A very evocative tune.
