Which one's did you find useful. I am currently using Apogee's 96 interface.

I think you're pretty on par with the Apogee 96. Only alternative in this league I can think of is the Irig Pro HD which also has 48+ phantom power for mics.
Since a few days I have the first Irig guitar connector (only because it's price dropped heavily) It's now available new for about 7 euros so I couldn't resist the buy. Not great but certainly not as bad as I imagined (and read) considering noise.
