So. After all the fun poking and ....hurt I finally decided to give the demo a spin. I don't want to spam the bitwig forum with a bunch stuff so I thought I'd resurrect this for fun and information. Yes, I am watching tuts, reading the manual and lurking at the bitwig forum. It's pretty easy to get your head around so far.

The first that I don't understand is why there would be no count in for clips  I see that people are getting impatient over this. That's a real tough one. I mean, you can work around it but that doesn't really make any sense.

I'm also having some difficulties with recording audio, but that might very well be that I'm just too new (though I'm pretty quick to getting to grips with a daw ;) ) The main problem is there is no audio loop recording in the manner of recording a pass and then keeping it.

Seems to me, a clip should have a) a count in and b) a definable amount. Midi recording seems to be pretty good with the overdub feature.

On the bright side, no crashes or hiccups and the cpu usage seems pretty decent so far. But w/o being able to save and add on later, this is just an early impression. It's just not like studio one or FL studio where shit is spiking and being a general PITA.

Also, Is it my imagination, or are there some DANDY built-in effects?

Ok, that's enough for now......no cat pic this time :hihi:

Inside BWS hibidy?

Can you send the details to the devs, here?:

They prefer bugs sent direct to them.

Thanks!

Happy Musiking!

Done. I just wanted to know if it was something that others had an issue with.

I have 5 million questions and puzzlements and I'm just BURSTING to get answers. Hopefully, I can do it here.

First thing, recording midi in a loop. Why do notes sometimes not play while record is enabled but plays fine once you release record? Is it a known issue? Maybe something I'm doing wrong?
