The CPU usage is unbelievably low. There's a beta x64 version as well. Works fine for me.

How does Sylenth1 stand up to the newer synths sonically?

Is it still worth getting?

I'd say it's the "Synth1" of the commercial arm of the plugin scene.

Depends on your sonic preferences, but I think it sounds pretty good and is incredibly well optimised.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Pros: Low CPU, Great Sound, Nice GUI, Loads of Presets available etc.

Cons: Beta x64

Post

More Pros: Does not need marketing, slogans, claims. Stands for itself. Simply put: a decent legend.

More Cons: Almost silent[h] dev. Responds to emails though. Part of the image. Hidden champion.

I am sure he is on this board from time to time and notices that the competition out there is growing rapidly... Probably all of them with a dedicated PW knob :hihi:

In addition to the previous ones, one of cons is that if you wan´t to re-sell the product
in the future, the transfer fee for this "birthday hero" is almost 20 euros...

Ahhh... I didn't realize that. Sweet! So it works pretty well then. :tu:

It may not have all the bells and whistles, but still a great synth.

I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

Not to play the party pooper, but it's a shame it isn't 50% discounted. With 25% off, and adding VAT to that, it's still very expensive for what it does compared to other often mentioned alternatives... that said, a lot of people will have waited for this discount to buy it, so. Probably the most used plugin in EDM music since years. :)

I wonder what Lennard Addink looks like :) We all know what Urs Heckmann looks like, and since yesterday I also know what the developer of Dune looks like. It is nice to know what developers look like, it removes the anonymity :)
