They can't sell that well if the PR forum guy on their forums said that development of the 64-bit Mac version stagnated the last few years due to the damage done by people just using warezed versions of Sylenth.

Don't think i'll ever understand their politics. I mean now they had the chance to turn on business a bit again by doing a sale, and what do they do? A one day 25% off... No, no, that's a huge chance missed. Basically you get Spire or Dune 2 for almost the same price they had their sale with. Even if it's the most popular plugin in the world for certain music genres, the credit is exhausted. Weird company, obviously no idea how business or marketing works.

Did he reply you then to f**k off as you begged? :?:
Sorry, maybe I should have written it more plainly so even you could understand. I didn't beg him, he didn't tell me to f**k off.I wrote what I already mentioned, he replied (with no expletives), we carried on a conversation, my request for support got sorted.

I'd tell you to f**k off for free though, even if you didn't beg me. That's the kind of kind guy I am.
Wov! What a guy!
You really turned the nature of this thread.

I suspect they know exactly how business and marketing works.

I also suspect that OSX-64 or not this plugin sells well to the hundreds of new 'producers' looking for stardom every month. It is ubiquitous.

I bet they still sell 20-30 licenses a week.

To those who missed the one-day-deal: Check the "Call to Arms" charity... ;)

Maybe. Otherwise that joke sale, and the constant fooling of their client base wouldn't make any sense. And i'm not thinking that a developer or a company should hold hands with its client every day on forums, or when you contact them. But people are waiting for years for the 64-bit Mac version now. On the other hand the LD official on these forums blaming the warez for the lack of development would hardly make sense then either.

Btw, just a little story: I recently contacted another company i won't name, and asked if there would be a sale soon, and the guy i contacted offered me a 30% discount. Without any anniversary, or any other special occasion, just like that. That's how you do business. A happy customer is a happy future customer.

Maybe they sell 5 licences/week if they are lucky in that week. Nobody sell that ammount! lol

Especially when it's not 64bit on the mac. :(

I reckon they lose quite a lot to piracy. I've seen some dogey names on youtube tutorials.

Well, I don't think piracy is a big problem (but still it is), specially nowadays, because the most of people that download bad software don't have any intention about purchase it. If they don't find it, they will take another one.

I purchased it two days ago, I sold it 4 years ago and it was a big mistake. I really love its sound, it's very unique with personality.

I'm sad I missed this - would a week-long sale have killed them? Oh well . . . .

You never know. I argued like that in a discussion about warez too a couple of times. But who knows, or can tell really, whether the people who arezed it would have bought it or not. I'm sure a lot wouldn't have, but maybe some would have.

Sylenth1 seems to be one of the most ripped vst plugins and to be honest it's one of the reasons the 64-bit version has been delayed for so long. (the Lennardigital Team)

Definitely agree... Because it's old and the copyright system is outdated. Not mentioning any names here, but I have (and others) have seen quite a few pro producers use it with different names on their own YT channels.

That's a bit of a shame for LD.
