The multiparameter smoothing has improved the overall sound tremendously in my opinion

Hey guys,
I had some problems to get the feedback stuff working but after some hours I found a pretty neat solution and this technique also gave me lots of new ideas. But just in case somebody is interested in a "internal feedback path" here is a short video. But I am not in front of my computer so the part where I adjusted the delay with "generate feedback" I am not quite sure if I have chosen the correct output (this is the point where your feedback will be grabbed and routed back into your feedback module into the mixer into the delay back into your feedback module etc.) Btw I shot this short video on my notebook because I thought other people would like to have some feedback fun too without all the "does not work" experiences.
And if you are inexperienced with internal feedback fun please be careful and use a brickwall limter. Dont try it on headphones if you don´t know what you are doing. Feedback can get very loud very quick and you can easily destroy your speakers, your ears and the whole neighborhood.

Cheers
Sebastian

Yeah, experienced this "pop" problem too. It is even noticable in a bass preset that Vojtech submitted with the Beta.

That's how extremely fast release times work, though. It's a problem if a bass preset releases too fast. A 50Hz waves has a 20ms cycle. If it's about 5 ms into a cycle when a fast release kicks in, it's going to essentially chop the waveform in half. That sharp movement in time domain translates to a bunch of high-frequency content heard as a click or pop for our ears.

Actually I am missing a description of what the building blocks do. Most of it is self explanatory, but I don't know what ratio is for, and ratio by input.
Edit: just figured it is the reverse action of the crossover, right?

Thanks. Interesting information.robertszalapski wrote:That's how extremely fast release times work, though. It's a problem if a bass preset releases too fast. A 50Hz waves has a 20ms cycle. Thanks for the explanation!

This installs and works well with my Reaper/linux/wine combo
The pipe organ sounds are excellent, among others.
The uninstaller is named setup.exe, a bit misleading.
Cheers

Ok so, first thank you folks again!!
Now...
Fill button in EQ - it toggles the "analyzer fill", spectrum view using colors (like sonogram but no time axis).
Demohlisher - ups
the plugin is on the market for a long time and nobody noticed yet
. Well it will have to stay like this for sake of backward compatibility... well, we have Demohlisher, patent pending
25 correctings for free licence - no, but if you do, let me know and you'll make me happy
Attach velocity to multiparameters - when you do that, do not forget to disable the "Learn"! It looks like you started learning...and didn't disable it. Though there's probably the bug, that if you do not disable it and close the window, it still learns on the background

Release 0ms -> pop - of course it does that! 0ms release means immediate end of the voice without proper fade out. If you have a synth, that doesn't do it, then it doesn't produce real 0ms release
.
Feedback video - yep that's it! I'll try to do some tutorials as well, but after the official release probably, when everything is ironed out...
Ratio processor - it simply mixes 2 inputs in the specified ratio, a dry/wet if you wish. The ratio by input doesn't have "Ratio" parameter, but rather follows the 3rd input instead. Cool for modulation between 2 signals.

But I have a sense for emerging livingroom-dictators and may send you a list of findings. I'll collect.

Hey Vojtech, I am finishing up my presets collection
So I am going through all of them checking the requirements (4 or more Multiparams, clean presets w/o useless stuff, reasonable quality settings on OSCs and filters, volume set for preset).
Now I notice that I only hear a difference in osc quality between low and medium. For me definitley medium is enough for 99% of my sounds. High, highest and extreme sound the same for all of my presets except one preset with FM that only works with extreme setting.
My question is: does it play a role for osc quality that my DAW runs at 96kHz sampling rate? Will osc quality set to "medium" sound worse for somebody who uses 48kHz or 44.1kHz?
PS: I can't type something into the preset info text box.
A bug?

Well, thats just it. It doesnt seem to be toggling anything.MeldaProduction wrote: Fill button in EQ - it toggles the "analyzer fill", spectrum view using colors (like sonogram but no time axis).
As you can see on the animation, what i can do is fill the spectrum permanently under Settings/Graph. I can also set a different fill-color there if i want to. But regardless of these settings the Fill button next to the Analyzer button is doing absolutely nothing, except enabling the Analyzer button if its not already enabled.
What could be wrong?
