Wow. Seriously man, wow! Instant goosebumps over here, can't say much about the production as I'm at work listening through headphones, but the tune is great. Yeah, it is slightly Verve-ish but your voice is much more pleasant than whiney-boy Ashcroft. Nice work, this one will find it's way to my mp3-player tonight! :)

Cheers,

Arne S.

I like very much the begining...
But the end is... hmm... hmm.. boring... all these strings, the slow singing etc... the same lyrics...
I find your songs better when the arrangment is simpler.
But it seems i'm the only one...

Err, thats probably the simplest thing I've done in ages, 3 chords!

Nah, I get what you mean, I like to vary things about a bit with the old songs, as you may have noticed......

another good song, BUT, what are you doing with all these songs? (I know about your website and cd on there)

And this sort of goes out to everybody - is anybody sending their stuff off to record companies etc? And has anyone been signed and is that what they want?

Perhaps not the place to ask this, but ...

nice slide work in there adding to a most interesting song. I'll be most interested in hearing what folks do with the loops. I got them myself, but fixing to go out of town for a few days..piano tech classes.

Not bad Donk, aye there is something of the Ashcrofts about this, but without the fake American accent :D

I much prefer the version with Har's slide on it.. Adds a lot to the atmosphere... Somehow pulls it all together. Look forward to hearing your mix of that. I agree with SF about the pad, cut it back a bit... It takes away the sparse atmosphere of the acoustic stuff too much at the moment.

Good work however!

P.S. Doing a jath remix. :P

The link with Hars guitars is a 404 for me, btw...

Not exactly a 404 but resolving in a 1kb file (no matter whether I'm using GetRight or IE straight).

Hmm, best start work on some 'alternate' lyrics then... :hihi:

Har's version works fine here too, must have his anti-hun filter on....

Hmm, had me fill of dealing with idiots in the music industry years ago, so I'm just doing stuff as a hobby and putting out me own CDs now and again..I think the next one may be a double. :o
