It's very hard piece to work out a guitar bit for... I was initally thinking of a fast guitar picking shite, but it sounded bollox when I played it.

The best sound I've worked out on me electric for this is some fat, very simply strummed, power chords with distortion followed by a wierd spacious wammy thing. maybe double/triple taked and gradually building in the second half... and then maybe a higher pitched rising guitar slowly cutting through the middle ...

Is that the kind of thing your looking for. I can record it tomorrow for you? ( unless someone else beats me to it

)

Great work. I would drop the level of the cello a bit, but for the rest the mix is excellent. I love the vocals and the repeating piano motiff. It creates an great dark atmosphere.

Not sure if you really need guitars.

Mr. me, what kind of guitar part are you looking for. Do you want a lead or ryhthym part? I can hear some gentle fingerpickin backing up the piano, but what glooper mentioned would probably be better. There are a lot of other options too. An oboe would be pretty cool, to play off the cello and add to the darkness. Can't help you there though

Try as many ideas as you want, I like where this is headed.

I would like too hear what all you guys come up with, thanks for the replies.

I could still work on things too so that things might work better for ya.

Though I think the guitars would have to be raised slowly rather than just coming in, and better reverb etc... and I think you'd want to get rid of all the fret noises and small chugs (I not sure why I played them for) in the quiet bits to make it sound more mechanical. But the idea is there and I can zip the original wavs (24bit) up for you and stick 'em on my site if you like it?
