Samsung with zero or very low latency on Android

Exciting news!
Samsung have made their own solution to latency and Samsung will run their seperate version of Android on their devices and they have also developed a DAW plus the possibility to use third party apps. There is already some developers on the case and the first announced is ThumbJam to be ported from iOS.
Here is the info from Samsung themselves:
The Pro-Audio SDK 2.0 provides low-latency audio and MIDI functionality to Samsung Android devices, and it also has zero-latency Audio/MIDI connections between independent music apps.
Soundcamp is a Samsung is a developed mobile DAW app that harnesses the full power of the Pro-Audio SDK and can be integrated with multiple 3rd party music apps for up to 8 tracks.
There is a Samsung Developers conferance 11-13th of November that will have all the information. To know more regarding the conferance go here:

It will be intersting to see how this develops as the apps would be bound to Samsung devices in most cases I guess. Plus that Google is supposed to come with low latency with the next version of Android and maybe if the latency is the same on both versions what use will a independent Android solution mean?
It will be very intereesting in either case to see how the DAW and third party apps will work out!

There was (briefly) a demo on YouTube of Thumjam for a Samsung tab 4
Which was looking pretty good...

I wonder if Samsung will roll it out to their older hardware as well or just include it in the new stuff.
